PREDICTABLE ESTHETICS AND FUNCTION:
A MATERIAL- AND TECHNIQUE-DRIVEN APPROACH
LECTURE
Recent advances in materials, techniques, and digital technology have greatly expanded the treatment options available for both single-unit restorations and full-mouth rehabilitations. Understanding the core principles of occlusion, dental adhesion, and esthetics allows clinicians to deliver predictable outcomes. This lecture provides a clinical and scientific overview for selecting a reliable approach to rehabilitating complex cases, with an emphasis on adhesive dentistry workflows and the integration of digital technology into interdisciplinary treatment.
OBJECTIVES: At the completion of the course, participants will be able to:
-
Identify esthetic and functional treatment options across single-unit and full-arch scenarios.
-
Understand minimally invasive adhesive protocols for restoring compromised dentition.
-
Evaluate the factors that determine a durable, stable bonding interface across different substrates.
