The LA Dental Symposium began in 2008, when Dr. Abdi Sameni was honored to be asked to help develop and chair the International Restorative Dentistry Symposium supporting the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.

 

For 11 consecutive years, the symposium flourished and developed a loyal following. What started as a small, local gathering of a few faculty members, students and residents, soon grew into a large international, annual gathering of many.

 

In 2019, the opportunity arose to take the symposium to the “next level” by untethering the program from its historical foundation and more aptly evolving the content and flow to meet the ever-growing educational demands of the dental professional.
