APPRAISAL OF THE ALL ON FOUR TECHNIQUE WHAT WE KNOW AND WHAT WE DON'T!
The advent of immediate implant placement, and temporization using the “All on Four” technique allows shorter treatment times with fewer implants in the treatment of partially dentate and edentulous patients.
Immediate implant placement, and temporization is a complex procedure that is becoming more popular, however, there are significant surgical, prosthetic, and technical challenges. Using a TEAM approach helps to mitigate some of these challenges that may be encountered in the hands of the novice.
The aims of this presentation are to use an evidence-based approach to discuss the advantages, limitations, and complications associated with the protocol.
At the completion of the course, participants will be able to discuss:
TEAM Approach: Surgical, Prosthetic, and Technical Considerations
Diagnostic Considerations: How many implants, where, and why?
Complication Management: Aesthetic, Material, & Surgical failures
Treatment alternatives to the All on Four Technique
