Dr. Luiz Baratieri is a professor of Operative dentistry at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, school of dentistry, Brazil.
He graduated from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where he received his dental degree. He then earned Periodontics certificate at the University of Bauru. Following this, Dr.Baratieri earned a master of science degree and PhD at University of Sao Paulo School of Dentistry, Operative Dentistry. He also continue to build his educational career and completed his post doctorate program at University of Sheffield, Great Britain.
Dr. Baratieri is expert of Operative & esthetic dentistry and actively provides over 1,000 lectures nationally and internationally.
He has published over 150 scientific article in Operative dentistry and esthetic dentistry in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Russian, Japanese, Italian and Slovak. His 23 text books have been translated in many different languages. Dr. Baratieri’s newest book, “O SHOW” was published in 2016.

RESTORATION OF ANTERIOR TEETH: SOMETHING BETWEEN THE LINES
In this two-part course, Dr Baratieri presents a critical view on Aesthetic Dentistry, based on the literature and 45 years of experience as a dental surgeon. The detailed use of composite resins on anterior teeth will be discussed, highlighting some of the key steps. Direct and semi-direct techniques will be detailed from the presentation of richly illustrated clinical cases so that everyone can achieve significant results. Important DETAILS of natural teeth, viewed from different and unusual angles, will be presented so that the professional can better understand, and thus reproduce them in their restorations.
